The government is boasting that the funding boost it announced yesterday (Wednesday 11 June) will mean that “Working people across Wales will benefit from better access to jobs and opportunities”.
The North Wales ferry port of Holyhead is preparing to resume operations. The RoRo port has been in hiatus since early December last year, following named storm Darragh.
As part of the electrification of the line from Cardiff Queen Street to Cardiff Bay, for two weeks starting on 10th May, there will be no trains on the line.
