A heritage diesel service, ‘Sunset Shuttle’, is being launched by Swanage Railway volunteers and will connect Swanage, Herston Halt, Harman’s Cross and Corfe Castle.
The Watercress Line is celebrating its longstanding volunteers, recently holding a long service volunteer lunch for those who have volunteered for 30+ years.
A plaque and memorial have been unveiled at Herston Halt to honour the contributions that the Royal Corps of Signals made to the Swanage Railway over the past 40 years.
