As it has done in previous years, train operator ScotRail is providing extra capacity for people travelling to the International Ayr Show and Largs Viking Festival.
Network Rail is advising passengers that Stevenston level crossing in North Ayrshire will close for the weekend 8-10 November while it carries out work to upgrade the crossing’s road barriers.
