The Stockton and Darlington Railway 200 festival, which is a week-long celebration and will centre around the newly restored replica of Locomotion No. 1.
As we previewed last month, this morning (Friday 25 July), the iconic steam locomotive 60103 ‘Flying Scotsman’ hauled the first passenger service across the Severn Valley Railway’s Mor Brook bridge since its repair.
A heritage diesel service, ‘Sunset Shuttle’, is being launched by Swanage Railway volunteers and will connect Swanage, Herston Halt, Harman’s Cross and Corfe Castle.
