High-speed railway HS2 has revealed that its engineers have finished the first major phase of work on the Duddeston Junction Viaduct over the railway lines that run from Birmingham to Derby.
The Government has given a full reset to the HS2 project, with the aim of delivering the project as quickly as possible, as well as being at the lowest cost.
Three companies have been invited by HS2 to tender for a major contract to provide and maintain station control systems that will give trains approval to depart platforms at the four new stations.
