San Diego Airport Welcomes KLM’s Amsterdam Flight As 10th International Destination

The busiest single-runway airport in the US is getting a new long-haul connection to Europe.

KLM and Transavia are not happy with the new increase and have urged the airport to rethink its plan to protect the Dutch economy.

Hubs for Delta’s three transatlantic JV partners feature heavily in the top ten.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has taken over the route from Delta Air Lines and will operate it using the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Different hub airports situated across the continent have different guidance.

The direct daily service will run from October 26 through to March 29.

Two routes will return and one is brand-new.

Since the 1990s, KLM has synced up the Delft Blue Houses with its birthday, which is on October 7.

KLM’s chief executive admitted that the new Delft Blue House was introduced during a challenging time for the Dutch airline.

The aircraft returned to Amsterdam over the North Sea before landing. At the time of publishing, it is flying from Amsterdam to Detroit.
