Preparations for the bicentenary of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway have taken a step forward at a Parliamentary Reception held at the House of Commons in London.
Great Western Railway (GWR) and Network Rail have announced that they are working together to make sure that most train services run this week, although there will be some disruption to the usual schedule of services.
