The tour train was tabled to pull in 3B in Southern Cross Station as “Special” pulls in 07:43 with P20 and A66 locomotive leading toward Seymour.

I shuffled in Southern Cross Station to see the Overland Shunted in the station at Platform 2 and N12 sitting at 3 B attached to a locomotive.

I had dinner on board as the service was fairly crowded in the evening toward Geelong and Waurn Ponds on Tuesday night and most the bulk of people were in 3 reservation cars.

I when to ride the 07:40 Swan Hill loco haul for the day when due to rolling stock shortage not train fault as stated on V/line app it was 3×1 Car VLocity!

I was riding the 19:15 Warrnambool on the 6th Feb 2025 on the newer timetable as VLocitys now are now operating on the daytime service time slots.

The vending machines at Warrnambool were nearly empty and cold drink machine next station office was out of order.

It was very crowded people coming from work and from Australian Open etc. All train movement were halted Wendouree ,Wyndham Vale etc was impacted and coach transfers and Ararat Service was delayed.
