More than 275 aviators, eight F-35As, a KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport and an E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning and Control aircraft have been deployed by the RAAF to Andersen Air Force Base from February 3 to 21.
Two of the Diamond DA40 XLT aeroplanes, to be housed at Sydney’s Bankstown Airport, have now arrived and been put into service after several weeks of testing, with the remaining four to join the fleet over coming months.
