A crowd of thousands gathered in the CBD to watch 374 bagpipers play along to AC/DC’s It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock ‘n’ Roll), shattering the world record.
Resplendent in his red school blazer, tie and cap, AC/DC guitar hero Angus Young, 70, showed he was still the king of rock — with singer Brian Johnson, 78, at his side.
Overnight, Angus Young and Co. announced a second European run this year, which will see the rockers play 12 open-air dates across 10 countries – including Edinburgh, Scotland, the birthplace of the Young clan.
