Iconic rock band AC/DC lit up Melbourne last night, rocking the MCG in front of over 80,000 fans.
The long-awaited event truly delivered on its promise of high-voltage rock, with reports that the performance was so loud that the iconic riffs were clearly audible as far as 10km away.

Resplendent in his red school blazer, tie and cap, AC/DC guitar hero Angus Young, 70, showed he was still the king of rock — with singer Brian Johnson, 78, at his side.
Brilliant stuff to see them back in Melbourne where they developed into a band and took on the world. How grate it must have been to have witnessed the first show and with 80,000+ people.
Melbourne is the heart of AC/DC no doubt, there manager was in Melbourne and they moved to Melbourne to create their international success. Bon Scott wrote much music in Melbourne and there is AC/DC Lane.
They are the world’s biggest rockers from all the reading here and other socials they did a great job and Melbourne of course is their ancestral home. ACDC got their big break in Melbourne under Browning and went forward from there.
