Bombardier hopes to introduce its new flagship business jet, the Global 8000, by 2025. Although initially scheduled to enter service in 2017, the program was put on hold until 2022. Bombardier's aptly named Global 8000 will be capable of flying 8,000 nautical miles (9,206 miles) and have a ceiling of 51,000 feet. The Global 8000 can reach a top speed of Mach 0.94 (721 miles per hour), faster than any other existing business jet.
