NSW ICAC found Gladys Berejiklian engaged in serious corrupt conduct

NSW ICAC found Gladys Berejiklian engaged in serious corrupt conduct. It was a good result for the fight against corruption.

Former NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian has lost her court bid to overturn damning findings made against her by the state’s corruption watchdog.

In a decision on Friday, a 2-1 majority of the NSW Court of Appeal dismissed her application for judicial review of the Independent Commission Against Corruption’s findings.

Of course, if this happened with a federal minister @AlboMP’s weak and secretive NACC would likely keep it all under wraps and this is the emerging problem, the NACC appears to be a arms length and properly independent body but it is not and is designed to fail.

It should also be noted the legislation around the NACC also sets out the immunity of politicians to any previous bad deeds should they arise at a future date.
