When Ellen Church first took to the skies as a flight attendant, she wanted to placate the fear people might have had while flying. Heinrich Kubis, the first flight attendant in the world and survivor of the Hindenburg disaster, was an excellent chef in his own right. With the meaning and roles of flight attendants changing with time and through the ages, requirements have also changed. One of the primary requirements of a cabin crew is to be of a certain height.

As requested by some of our viewers, we’ll be taking a closer look at the fleet of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for today’s video. The carrier is one of the two large members of the Air France-KLM Group along with Air France. Transavia is also in this group but makes up a much smaller proportion of operations. A fair bit has changed since our last examination of the KLM fleet and it looks like more changes are on the horizon. So, let’s take a look at the collection of aircraft operated by the Dutch carrier.
