Victoria has been labelled a “gangster state” by investigative journalist with The Age, Nick McKenzie, after revealing the CFMEU has been “infiltrated” by the criminal underworld.
The allegations were brought to light on 60 Minutes on Sunday night, with McKenzie telling Ross and Russ there will be evidence in the next 24 hours to suggest Premier Jacinta Allan knew about the allegations.
“I think the premier’s lack of response is very, very serious … we shouldn’t be living in a gangster state,” he said.
