On Thursday, the United States Senate stated that Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun would need to make another appearance before the committee as they prepare legislation that would allow the US Federal Aviation Administration to have better oversight of manufacturers and better quality control. This appearance is expected to take place next month.

While Boeing 747 aircraft in passenger service are somewhat few and far between these days, examples of the older 747-200 variant are even more so.One particularly interesting example active in recent years has been a testbed plane belonging to Rolls-Royce.
