Contract awarded for critical services at HS2’s West London station

Anthro has secured a contract to deliver mechanical, electrical, public health, fire and communications systems at the HS2’s Old Oak Common station.

HS2’s 1600-tonne tunnel boring machine (TBM) has now completed half of the excavation and building work for the Bromford Tunnel in Birmingham.

Over the bank holiday weekend, HS2 engineers began lifting the last of four tunnelling machines to the surface.

The HS2 Rail hub at Quainton has seen the delivery of over one million tonnes of materials to build the new line.
