Emirates has 10 777-200LRs, each in a two-class, 302-seat configuration. They are the Middle East giant's smallest equipment capacity-wise. Ironically, the LR's non-stop routes from Dubai in April-June are 9% shorter than planned for its 777-300ERs and 40% shorter than its A380s, mainly due to heavy use across South Asia. However, this is only part of the story: the LR also plays a vital role in Emirates' long-distance one-stop services.
