Globe Telecom transfers more towers for cash

Pan-African operator Axian Telecom has announced the rebrand of its five mobile units to Yas, a move aimed at unifying the operators and creating synergies for future growth.

Operators Maroc Telecom and Inwi have asked Morocco’s telecom regulator to approve a shared infrastructure plan first proposed earlier this year.

MTN Group announced it received regulatory approval to sell its Guinea-Bissau unit to Telecel Group as the operator pushes on with its plan to focus on core markets in Africa.
