With the United States finally delivering ACTAMS missiles to Ukraine, Ukraine appears to be destroying a large number of Russian S-300 and S-400 surface-to-air missile defense systems (SAMs). One suggestion is that Ukraine is working to weaken Russian air defense before the F-16 fighter jets arrive. The first Ukrainian F-16s are expected to arrive sometime this summer.
