The Piper M700 Achieves FIKI Certification By The FAA

On Friday, June 7th, Piper Aircraft announced another milestone for its flagship aircraft, the Piper M700 Fury. This aircraft recently achieved flight into known icing (FIKI) certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This now allows the aircraft’s operator to fly into known icing conditions. The aircraft was officially type-certified in March 2024, but operators were restricted from flying into icing conditions until the FAA approved the aircraft’s deicing system.
