VH-X4A arrived in the northern NSW leisure destination at 6:38pm on Sunday as flight QF1298. The A220s are enabling Qantas to resume five weekly flights between Melbourne and Coffs Harbour, up from a temporary reduction to two weekly flights in June.
Launched in February, the POLAIR Remote program has seen two drones, operated from Bankstown Airport, participate in aerial surveillance in an effort to improve police response times. This is the first time Australian police have used drones in this way.
The announcement was funded by the company’s $115 million capital raise and will support the company’s $500 million sales pipeline.
