Ben Roberts-Smith Denies War Crime Charges in Emotional Radio Interview

n a two-and-a-half-hour 2GB interview on October 22, Victoria Cross recipient Ben Roberts-Smith denied five war crime murder charges from his SAS service in Afghanistan between 2009 and 2012.

He called his April arrest at Sydney Airport a staged event for publicity, stood by every decision in his career, and expressed regret over not capturing an Afghan sergeant behind an insider attack that killed three Australians.

Facing a December court return after a 2023 defamation loss, he launched a clothing line to support his family while supporters view the case as persecution of a hero.
