Why United Airlines Pulled The Boeing 787-10 From Newark–Athens For A Veteran 777-200ER This Autumn

As the seasons change, United Airlines’ Newark to Athens route is a great illustration of how the airline shuffles its aircraft around to ensure it has the right aircraft for the demand on the route. The peak season is handled by a higher-capacity Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, with the veteran 777-200ER handling the shoulder seasons. To fill in the gaps, United is also assigning the 767-400ER for the low season.
