CRRC’s self-propelled modular MAGIX freight wagon concept

CRRC used InnoTrans 2026 to present MAGIX, a 1,435 mm-gauge flat wagon concept combining a modular vehicle structure, battery-electric self-propulsion, digital automatic coupling and onboard condition monitoring. The prototype has no customer yet, with the Chinese manufacturer using the Berlin exhibition to demonstrate the concept and gather feedback from the European market.
