5-Hour Squeeze: Delta Sued After Plus-Size Seatmate Left Passenger Needing Spinal Surgery

A Delta Air Lines passenger has filed a lawsuit against the Atlanta-based carrier, claiming he was forced to spend more than five hours pressed against the cabin wall when a plus-sized passenger seated beside him allegedly encroached into his space. Rolando Jimenez claims the passenger did not fit within a single Main Cabin seat, and there were no other available seats on the flight to move into.
