On Thursday August 6, 2026, Dallas Pokornik, 34, a former Flight Attendant, pleaded guilty in US District Court in Hawaii to wire fraud for posing as a commercial pilot to obtain hundreds of free flights across three US airlines between January 2020 and October 2024. He faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, with sentencing scheduled for December 8, 2026. Surprisingly, this is not the first time, and probably won’t be the last.
