“Bonnie”, a Beechcraft Bonanza A36 retrofitted with Stralis’ hydrogen fuel cell technology, taxied at Brisbane Airport on 29 July under its own power after four years in development.
The terminal, which opened in late 2025, was judged on “energy efficiency, operational performance, environmental impact reduction and sustainable building practices”, with GBCA CEO Davina Rooney calling the rating a “significant milestone”.
