Avelo Airlines announced yesterday that it will begin flights from Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) to the Washington metropolitan area’s Dulles International Airport (IAD) on July 12. The low-cost carrier proudly highlights that this move makes it the only airline to fly nonstop between the two destinations.
