Delta Air Lines passengers on a scheduled service between Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) unexpectedly ended up in London Heathrow Airport (LHR) after the Airbus A330-900 they were on was forced to stop in the British capital due to a mechanical issue with an onboard lavatory. This left passengers stranded in London for hours and forced the plane to declare an emergency for landing overweight.
