Boeing & Spirit AeroSystems Engineering Union Will Train Members On US Whistleblower Laws

On Thursday, Boeing’s engineering union advised that it would offer its representatives comprehensive training on United States whistleblower laws. A first for the union was the decision to educate its members following several recent events that have led to concern about adequate protection against reprisals. The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) plans to facilitate sessions this Friday at 14:00 for stewards in Boeing and Spirit Aerosystems stores after multiple queries from union members about what steps they can take to become whistleblowers.
