No matter how well an aircraft fights and flies, all aircraft are sitting ducks on the ground. Ukraine appears to have just destroyed or damaged around half a dozen Russian aircraft on the ground at Russia’s Belbek Airbase in occupied Crimea (along with a valuable S-400 SAM system). The reported losses below are likely the minimum as the cluster munitions of the missiles can damage and shred an aircraft, but the damage might not be visible from satellite imagery.
