California is not a large part of Allegiant Air’s network. In the 12 months to March 2026, the US Department of Transportation (DOT) shows that only 943,000 of its passengers — just 5% of the total — flew to or from The Golden State. Given its already-small Californian network, along with thin routes and low frequencies, it was only the state’s tenth-largest domestic carrier.
