Star Alliance carrier United Airlines plans to commence a new service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) from October. This will be flown with the airline’s Boeing 737 MAX 99 aircraft, and United will face direct competition at the airport against Delta Air Lines and JetBlue.
