Engineering work in Darlington to deliver upgrades to passengers’ journeys on East Coast Main Line

In February, Network Rail engineers will be working to upgrade part of the East Coast Main Line through Darlington to deliver smoother and more reliable journeys for passengers.
Rail users around Fife are being reminded of 18 days of disruption in October as Network Rail continues to undertake major engineering works as part of a £311.5m investment from the Scottish Government to electrify over 70 miles of track.
