Heathrow Airport Heading For Busiest Year Ever

Last year, around 8.5 billion passengers passed through the world’s airports, 27.2% more than in 2022 and a 93.8% recovery compared to pre-pandemic 2019. London’s Heathrow Airport handled 79.2 million to rank fourth for total passengers in 2023, recovering to 97.9% from 2019 numbers.
