An investor of SpaceX has revealed that the reason why the network connectivity deal between Delta Air Lines and Starlink fell apart previously was that the airline wanted to prioritize its own brand and provide internet connectivity to passengers via the Delta Sync portal, instead of the Starlink-branded portal. The airline has since chosen to partner with Amazon’s equivalent of low-latency network connectivity – Amazon LEO.
