Spirit Shutdown: All The US Airlines Offering Rescue Fares Right Now

United States ultra-low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines has officially ceased operations. The Daina Beach-based carrier announced that it would no longer operate flights on Saturday, May 2, ending the airline’s 33 year history. The airline was hoping to secure creditor support and a US Government bailout, but these talks ultimately failed, and the end of the line is now here for these infamous yellow aircraft.
