Death penalty for accused rapist if found guilty?

Newspaper spread with large headline 'Tragic case highlights a national disgrace' and a photo of a woman in a blazer.

The child rapist and murderer that stole the life of a 5 year old Aboriginal girl in Northern Territory has been arrested and taken to hospital after mob found him and beat him.

The five-year-old child who recently died in the Northern Territory is identified for cultural reasons as Kumanjayi Little Baby. Her body was discovered by Northern Territory Police on 30 April 2026, roughly five kilometres south of the Old Timers town camp near Alice Springs, where she was last seen.

Hundreds of local mob have surrounded the hospital demanding they bring him out so they can get their own justice.

I think they should let the community deal with him. Our justice system is useless, he will say he has mental health issues and they will just release him again.

Bring back the Death penalty for ANYONE that intentionally harms a child and lets have a Royal Commission into the Aboriginal Corporations that have a say in the state of the remote communities.

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation has been for years promoting a hands off approach to these matters. As Grok explains, the ABC has created hundreds of articles pushing for fewer arrests, less custody, and less jail time for Aboriginals.

It is time for a Royal Commission.
