The Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) has announced that its members on East Midlands Railway (EMR) will strike on Sunday 30 August, Monday 31 August, Wednesday 16 September and Thursday 17 September.
East Midlands Railway (EMR) is asking its passengers not to travel on Saturday (15 August) unless their journey is essential, as RMT trade union members will be taking strike action over safety faults in the operator’s new fleet of trains.
