Why Don’t Airbus Aircraft Have Serrated Engine Covers?

When differentiating between Airbus and Boeing aircraft, have you ever noticed that Airbus aircraft do not feature serrated engine covers? Engine serrations are featured on some Boeing aircraft, including the 737 MAX, 787 Dreamliner, and the 747-8. Engine exhaust serrations, or chevrons, are designed to reduce engine blast noise.
