The long-running battle for supremacy atChicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) between American Airlines and United Airlines has taken yet another turn, with the facility’s latest set of gate allocations seeing momentum swing back toward American. Indeed, the Fort Worth-based US ‘big three’ carrier and oneworld founding member is set to win back three gates at the hub, with Star Alliance founder United set to lose the same number.
