Boeing is preparing to accelerate its output of next-generation narrowbody twinjets from the 737 MAX family, with the US planemaker set to churn out another five aircraft per month from this summer onward. This would represent the second time that Boeing has been able to raise its rate of production for the single-aisle 737 MAX series since the figure was capped by the FAA following the Alaska Airlines blowout incident in early 2024.
