It is very hard for a low-cost carrier to make long-haul routes work, as many airlines—including Norse Atlantic—have found. In the latest update, the budget operator has removed all flights to Los Angeles. It has cut 31% of its planned US flights in the peak summer. And when other eliminated routes are included, it’ll have 60% fewer US services than last year. Elsewhere, it recently ended its Manchester-Bangkok route.
