Big delays for V/Line passengers on the Geelong Line this morning.
The rail operator has reported an equipment fault between Geelong and Waurn Ponds. There are also service delays near Corio due to level crossing damage.
Platforms are packed with passengers ditching the car to take the train to Melbourne.
It comes as politicians have ignited calls for free public transport to limit car use while petrol prices remain high.
Something is just not right at V/Line there are too many mistakes and service issues.
