Lithuania boosts rail military mobility

European combined transport declined by 4.9% in the first quarter of 2026, with UIRR pointing to rail infrastructure disruptions and weak economic demand.

The partnership will be implemented through the Office of the Commissioner of the Atlantic Corridor and involves cooperation with railway undertakings, logistics operators and freight customers.

The decision targets port to hinterland transport, with a focus on modular and integrated service offerings.
