Raspberry Software, a specialist in rail revenue protection software, has formally joined Waynova Group, a new rail technology platform created by Arcadea Group.
Arcadea, which already owns Raspberry Software, has brought together its rail-focused software businesses – ZEDAS, Railroad Software, Raspberry Software and Automated Rail – under the Waynova banner. While these companies have shared common ownership and operated in close alignment for several years, the launch of Waynova Group creates a single, international platform that strengthens product depth, integration and supports long-term investment in digital rail innovation.
For Raspberry Software’s rail industry customers, this represents continuity combined with enhanced capability. The company remains fully focused on supporting train operating companies (TOCs) with its established revenue protection software and back-office services for penalty fares and appeals processing. As part of Waynova Group, Raspberry now benefits from the scale and wider specialist expertise of a broader rail technology platform serving operators, infrastructure managers and maintenance organisations worldwide.
Under Waynova Group, Raspberry Software continues as a specialist provider of revenue protection software and back-office services. By uniting the companies, Waynova Group will continue to offer solutions across integrated logistics and asset management solutions for rolling stock and infrastructure, yard management, compliance systems, and Automatic Equipment Identification (AEI) readers rail hardware technology.
Peter Jarvis, director at Raspberry Software said “This unified structure supports greater international reach while preserving our specialist focus. Our mission remains the same: to address revenue protection, which costs the UK rail industry and taxpayers more than £500 million every year.
“We have already been working closely with our sister businesses under Arcadea’s ownership, so this formal launch strengthens what is already working well. For our customers, it means greater innovation, deeper expertise and long-term stability, without losing the dedicated focus they rely on.”
Jake Micsak, CEO of Waynova Group added: “Waynova Group reflects our long-term commitment to the rail sector. Each company brings its specialist expertise while benefiting from the shared scale, knowledge and strategic focus of the group, creating a stronger foundation for sustainable investment, product integration and innovation.
“Strong rail software is built on deep process understanding, but real progress happens when that depth meets scale, speed and specialisation. By bringing our companies together, we are creating a unified platform that allows us to evolve faster and support our customers even more effectively.”
