New Italy–Sweden rail service begins

Forwardis is reshaping single wagon logistics in Europe with the launch of ForwardNet, an alternative network designed to make wagonload transport more reliable, transparent and easier to manage.

ÖBB Rail Cargo Group relocates its Verona–Germany TransFER from Wuppertal to Duisburg and increases weekly roundtrips from six to ten, strengthening intermodal flows between Italy and Germany.

The project is designed to assess the operational feasibility of shifting the traffic to combined transport.
