DB Cargo plans 80,000 Stellantis cars

GB Railfreight has operated the first commercial Class 99 service, running 99001 on an intermodal train from DP World London Gateway to Maritime Transport’s Hams Hall terminal.

The shipment replaces heavy truck transport for this flow and cut emissions by more than 9,500 kg of CO₂ equivalent.

China–Europe freight train services operated 20,022 trips in 2025, up 3.2% year on year, while return services outnumbered outbound trains for the first time in recent years.
