The good thing about having outspoken but highly credentialed people at the head of industry bodies is that they actually say something useful rather than endless platitudes that ensure no one is offended but tell us nothing. There are few more outspoken than Willie Walsh, who kicked off May with a stinging assessment of the German government’s approach to aviation.
